There are many pros and cons to both a non-surgical nose job and a surgical rhinoplasty. Some of the advantages that people love about a non-surgical nose job (completed with dermal filler) is that it is fast and easy. In less than 15 minutes, a bump can be masked or a bridge created. Another great advantage is that if you were considering a rhinoplasty, but wanted to test the waters first, you can have a non-surgical nose job completed. *If you realize that the look is not for you, the dermal filler used on your nose is dissolvable and reversible.* Some of the disadvantages to this temporary nose job is that it will only last around 9 months depending on the type of injectable filler used, so you would have to return on a regular basis to maintain your results. Another disadvantage is that not everyone is a great candidate for non-surgical rhinoplasty depending on what needs to be done to improve or correct your area of concern. It’s important to note that some cosmetic surgery scars will only be visible when you’re undressed. This is true of breast lift scars. Because they will be located on the bottom portion of your breasts, they will most often be covered by your clothing, bra, or swimsuit. Only you, your doctor, and anyone with whom you’re intimate will ever see your breast lift scars.
A technique called “tumescent liposuction" is the most common method for removing fat around the stomach, buttocks, thighs and ankles. It’s also considered the safest. “Tumescent” means that large amounts of buffered salt water are injected into fatty tissue beneath the skin. The doctor makes a cut in the fatty area to be treated, then inserts beneath the flesh a strawlike tube called a cannula that is attached to a vacuum. At the end of the cannula is a stiff wand. The doctor moves it back and forth in rapid motions to loosen fat. The procedure takes 45 minutes to two hours, with a recovery time of up to two weeks. The full effect of liposuction is seen six to 12 weeks after the procedure is performed. After the procedure, the area is bandaged and the patient must wear a compression garment for one to two weeks. Pain and bruising may last up to two weeks, and swelling may last for two weeks to two months.

The “crescent lift” technique is mostly used for women who have a very small amount of sagging to correct, and involves one small incision that runs halfway around the top half of the edge of the areola.  It’s usually only done when a patient is undergoing a breast augmentation, and even then only rarely. It’s more of a preventative measure, unlike the other options, which are focused on breasts that have more advanced sagging.
Note that patients are strongly advised to avoid smoking and alcohol consumption 6 weeks before and after the procedure. Those habits highly interfere with wound healing, prolong recovery and increase the risk of infection. Health specialists also suggest patients maintain nutrient rich diet, drink enough water and exercise daily. Avoid fatty foods (steaks, fried foods and desserts) as they have a negative impact on the healing processes by increasing inflammation. The patient might be asked to refrain from eating and drinking approximately 6 hours before the surgery. This is done in order to prevent regurgitation and vomiting during the procedure.
“Most people price liposuction based on the number of areas being treated, and in general the per-area cost will come down with additional areas,” says Dr. Mathew A. Plant, a Toronto plastic surgeon, in a RealSelf Q&A. “Usually, the first area is more expensive because this price includes the costs of the operating room, equipment, and anesthetic. Once you’re into additional areas, those costs have mostly been covered, and you’re simply adding time, which allows a price drop.”

Most people who consider a nose job don’t want to look like someone else, they just want to look like the best version of themselves. A nose job, also known as rhinoplasty, is an outpatient surgery to change the size or shape of your nose. It often addresses the size of your nose in relation to the rest of your face, the width of the bridge, and asymmetry. It can also adjust the appearance of humps or depressions, the shape and position of the tip of your nose, and the size of your nostrils.
Also known as a vertical lift, this technique requires surgeons to make a keyhole shaped incision on the breast, preserving the nipple but removing any excess skin below it. The areola is then shifted up into its new position, while suturing the skin edges together results in a lollipop shaped scar around the nipple and a vertical line down to the breast crease.
A Brazilian butt lift is a specific procedure that aims to enhance your natural curves to give you a firm and youthful behind. Otherwise known as a gluteal augmentation, a Brazilian butt lift relies on the transfer of fat from other parts of the body. The fat is removed via tumescent liposuction, cleaned and purified, then re-injected or grafted back onto the buttocks.

Finally, there’s the so-called scarless lift. Women who are seeking a mild lift but are dead set against leaving scars anywhere on their breasts may opt for a technique that uses a network of dissolving surgical threads inserted through tiny incisions along the collar bone, guided under the breast tissue, and then anchored to the collar bone, to create an internal bra of sorts. Scar tissue forms around the threads, theoretically providing support to lift the nipple.
With this procedure, a surgeon creates an incision on or around the perimeter of the areola and later a second outer incision to remove the “donut” of skin around it. The nipple is sutured back to the breast skin, tightening it in the process. This method provides more lift than the crescent, but again only a relatively small amount of sagging can be repaired.
Some women seek out scarless breast lift because they wish to avoid scars which are the hallmark of a breast lift.  Unfortunately, a true breast lift cannot be done with scars.  However, in some instances, a woman looking for a breast lift only needs more volume in the upper part of her breast and in such situation a breast augmentation helps to reshape the breast and creates the illusion of a lift.  This is a procedure that is appropriate only for a very limited number of patients as this is not a true lift.
Cost is incredibly variable. It depends on the city and the provider. If you go to a plastic surgeon in New York City, it costs a lot more than seeing a non-plastic surgeon in a rural area. There are plenty of non-plastic surgeons offering discount liposuction. But, this can be somewhat risky due to their limited training backgrounds. And bad liposuction is very difficult to fix - I perform a lot of revision liposuction trying to fix poorly performed liposuction.

BBL is a perfect procedure for younger women looking to give their body prominent and sensual curves. It is also a useful procedure for them who are looking to improve their buttock appearance. Our plastic surgeons at Spectrum Aesthetics, Miami recommend age to be at least 18 before performing Brazilian butt lift (bbl) surgery. Normally eligibility for BBL, depends on patient’s overall health and comfort.
Ultrasound-assisted liposuction techniques used in the 1980s and 1990s were associated with cases of tissue damage, usually from excessive exposure to ultrasound energy.[10] Third-generation UAL devices address this problem by using pulsed energy delivery and a specialized probe that allows physicians to safely remove excess fat.[11] UAL is beneficial in people with a particular skin tone, in liposuction of areas that are more difficult to remove fat, that include treatment of gynecomastia, or areas where secondary liposuction is being performed.[12]
However, minimizing the appearance of scars on the breast will be of vital importance to your surgeon. The whole point of a breast lift procedure is to make the breast more attractive, and conspicuous or heavy scarring defeats that point. Most scars will typically heal and fade within two years, but will always be present. Your surgeon will consider it a part of their job to keep these scars discrete, not a bonus. They may also prescribe cortisone cream and use silicone sheeting to help reduce the appearance of scars after surgery.
The expected time and effort that is required to accomplish a liposuction surgery is the most important factor in determining the cost of liposuction. Factors that typically affect the surgeon’s time and effort include 1) Number of areas being treated, 2) Size of the patient, 3) Anticipated degree of difficulty. Thus, cost of liposuction of the abdomen alone is less than the cost of doing liposuction on both the abdomen as well as the inner thighs and knees. Similarly, the cost for abdominal liposuction on a patient who weighs 80 kilograms (176 pounds) might be more than the cost for liposuction of the abdomen of a patient who has never weighed more than 60 kilograms (132 pounds). Liposuction is more difficult and requires more time if the patient has previously gained and then lost a significant amount of weight. In any area previously treated with liposuction, the fat often contains scar tissue which makes liposuction in the same area more difficult.
